CORE 10 Person Instant Tent with Screen Room Review
Our First Thoughts
At first glance, we think this tent seems uncomplicated with a straightforward design and simple installation. Looking further, we can tell that this is certainly a modern version of many other cabin models and is built for the modern camper.
It has a very spacious footprint that would work very well for a group of 3 to 5 people. In terms of the price, we do think it’s reasonable considering the added front screen room and the interior divider.
The instant set up makes things incredibly simple, but it’s not freestanding which is something to keep in mind if you need to frequently move it around the campsite.
Bunk beds would work well in Core 10 Person Instant Cabin Tent because of the massive head space. This looks like a dependable choice for warm weather camping.

What We Love – Our Top 3 Features
We’ve chosen our top 3 highlights that we think make this tent unique from others available on the market. These features make us excited and represent what we love about this model.
GOLD QUALITY – Large Screen Room
Having a front porch area that’s protected from bugs and some wind is a huge advantage when camping. We love the sheer versatility of having a front room like that that has screen protection.
Even though it’s not fully covered by the rainfly, while camping in summer it’s the perfect spot for relaxing and storing dirty gear that you need to keep away from the sleeping areas.
SILVER FEATURE – Smooth Set Up
Instant is certainly an apt description in terms of the pitching time of this tent. 2 minutes and 2 people are all it takes to have this model installed. The framework is completely pre-attached, as all the poles are connected to some central hubs.
Even inexperienced campers could set this up in a cinch, simply by unfolding it from the bag and extending the legs. The only other part you must do manually is the front section at the screen house. It requires 3 poles to be inserted and connected into their elbow joints. It’s still a simple process and only takes another minute or so.
BRONZE HIGHLIGHT– Spacious Double Rooms
For a small family or group of friends, having the ability to customize the rooms is always a welcome feature. The rooms are separated with a curtain-like divider, that can be zipped up or tied away off to the sides.
There is a slight gap between this divider and the walls, but it still goes a long way towards adding some privacy.
It’s also one of our preferred features because you can use one room as a sole living area, and the other as a bedroom. You can keep sleeping quarters clean and isolated from others who may be relaxing or playing games.
Main Overview – Breaking Down Every Detail
Screen Porch
A front room covered in mesh is one of the best things to have while camping. It adds so much flexibility and becomes so useful, especially for a group of people. This front area is separated from the main tent with some large double D-doors that can be zipped up completely.
You can change out of dirty clothes in this room, leaving all the mess behind and again keeping the bedrooms spotless. Use it as a relaxation or dining zone whilst steering clear of any bugs. It also works so well as a sleeping spot for dogs.
We can think of so many uses for this area. One of the most common is as a storage area, where dirty and muddy shoes and bags can stay away from the beds.
One thing to note is that there is no flooring in this part. If this is a concern for you, it’s easily fixed by bringing along a tarp or footprint that can cover the ground. Thanks to the raised flooring at the entrance to the main part of the tent, the risk of splashed water or flicked dirt are greatly reduced.
Tent Type
At its foundation, this is a classic cabin tent. It has been upgraded with the front netted room, and the shape is slightly altered because it tapers out. This actually works as an advantage in terms of winds, as the breeze can slide up the front sloping wall and away from the rest of the tent body.
Due to the main cabin structure, there are steep walls and a tall roof. It makes it feel like a home as you’re able to walk around comfortably. No bending your neck or head just to change your clothes or make your bed.
The floor space is great too. 2 queen air mattresses can easily fit inside but think carefully about sleeping placements if you want storage room.
2 rooms allow you and the other campers to personalize the space and keep things organized. We all know how hectic and messy camping can be, so having this option goes a long way. We love how you can make a living room and a bedroom, just like in your own home.
If you’re camping with kids, it’s great to be able to separate your room from their room so you can go to sleep at different times. Even for a couple, it’s nice to be able to have so much extra space.
Advanced Ventilation Levels
Air circulation is done so well with this tent. You’ll find 4 expansive mesh windows on each wall, and they can all be covered up or left open depending on the weather.
The front doors are also mesh, and the great thing about these is that you can leave them open throughout the night and stay protected thanks to the screen room. The entire roof is also mesh, which gives incredible vertical ventilation, so things won’t get stuffy.
In addition to these mesh openings, there are 2 mesh vents next to the ground on both sides. They are fully covered by the rest of the body fabric, so they can always stay open. This is optimal for getting airflow when it rains, as you know things will stay dry inside.
Rainfly
The fly is not full coverage but considering this should be used in seasons with warmer weather, this shouldn’t be a problem.
It covers the roof of the main section and sits just over the top to allow precipitation to bounce off and away from the windows.
On the screen front room area, it does not cover the whole thing. For this reason, we recommend only using this part as storage if it’s dry outside.
Most Asked Questions – We’ve Got You Covered
Is it Waterproof?
Core 10 Person Instant Cabin Tent is water-resistant with the Core H2O Block Technology. It makes water droplets form more quickly, preventing leakages. All seams are also sealed, and the rainfly is taped.
How Many Beds Can You Fit Inside?
We’ve found that 3 twin beds or 2 queen mattresses can fit inside.
Our Final Thoughts
It’s clear to see why this Core 10 Person Instant Cabin Tent is a huge hit with the camping community.
For warmer climates, it’s pretty much the ultimate tent. The screen room area is one of the best we’ve seen, due to its smart design and entire mesh build for breathability.
The option of 2 rooms makes the organization so much easier and gives privacy to everyone.
While not made for intense weather conditions, it still has a good level of protection with special water-resistance technology and sealed seams.
We think this tent is multifunctionality at its best.
